Short Term Accommodation (STA)
What STA can do for you
Short Term Accommodation (STA) is where you take a short time away from your usual home environment and stay in one of our STA houses. When you stay with us, you have access to our independent living skills program and you can take part in our on-location learning including things you have an interest in as well as practical skills like booking and attending appointments, meal planning and cooking. There are many other activities and if you have a particular area of interest and let us know we will see how we can support it. If you want to find out more about what other activities, we have on offer send us an enquiry and we will get back to you.
STA will be able to be used up to 14 days at a time. You might have a short stay with others, or by yourself if you prefer.
Some other benefits of using STA are that it can:
- Give you the chance to try new things.
- Be a place to socialise, make new friends or develop new skills.
- Build your independent living skills
